Passbolt is an open-source password manager designed for teams and businesses that need to share credentials securely and transparently. Built with privacy and security as its foundation, Passbolt uses end-to-end encryption and OpenPGP standards to ensure that passwords are never exposed, even to the server hosting them.
The platform allows users to create, store, organize, and share passwords using a web interface, browser extension, or self-hosted server. Team members can assign access rights, audit usage, and enforce password policies while maintaining complete control over data residency and user identity verification.
Passbolt is available in both cloud-hosted and self-hosted editions. The self-hosted version gives IT teams the flexibility to deploy on their own infrastructure and integrate with LDAP, OpenID Connect, and other identity providers.
